Aisle Pads Review & Ratings
My Aisle Reusable Menstrual Pad Review
Over the past 6 months, I have been reviewing three different brands of reusable cloth menstrual pads. Here are my thoughts about Aisle pads:
The aisle period products are brightly colored with beautiful patterns, and the aesthetic of their entire brand is just pretty! While that’s great, it wouldn’t matter if they didn’t do their job. My opinion is that they do the job SO WELL!
I have always found more comfort in pads with extra protection, so naturally, the Aisle Super Pads (13″) are my favorite. Leaking is a problem for me, and the Super size pads by Aisle prevent leaks most of the time (90% of the time) for me. The only time that the coverage and protection are questionable is sometimes on my super heavy days which last about two days. On those days, it is important to change pads more frequently. Thus, it is great to have a large stash of pads, or to wash them very frequently during your cycle.

Speaking of purchasing them, buying reusable cloth pads is an investment. They have a higher upfront cost, but over time, they are cheaper than buying disposable menstrual products. The investment isn’t just personal and for health reasons – it benefits the planet, as well, by wasting less natural resources.
Lastly, let’s talk about pad wings. From what I’ve seen during my research, all washable cloth pads have “wings.” The wings on Aisle pads and other are necessary to secure the pad around underwear. Due to there being no adhesive backing, the snaps on the wings help keep the reusable pad in place. Because of the built-in wings, cloth pads inherently provide extra coverage from leaks. Indeed, cloth pads have so many amazing qualities!
