4 Years Blogging Anniversary + Giveaway

4 Years Blogging + Giveaway - prize image

I can’t even believe I just typed that post title.  I have been writing, blogging, growing, re-imagining and reinventing this blog for the past FOUR whole years, as of February 12th!  Along every step of the way, my friends and all of you have been pivotal in every success that it has garnered.  People text me and send me facebook messages because they want to know more about sustainable living and/or dressing fashionably with thrift store finds, and it is all because of this here blog!   I am so blessed and humbled by that.  I am so very grateful for each and every one of you who take the time to read a post, like Facebook pictures, or share what you find here.  In honor of YOU, I’ve partenered up with one of my FAVORITE natural, green and sustainable brands to give 7 of you something very special.  That can wait, though.  Let’s take a trip down memory lane, first.

Memory Lane

Cheers to four years!  I had an amazing photo shoot with my sister of The Beanie Bar, and a cake catered by the owner of RJ’s Cookie Co.  Here’s a look back at previous years: Year 3, Year 2 (oops, didn’t blog about it!), Year 1.

What’s in Old World New’s future

More thrift inspired fashion, advice on thrifting to look and feel your best, tips for finding thrift stores and then making the most of what you find there, tips to live more sustainably, sharing sustainable, natural and green products that I’ve discovered, and so much more!!!

A Giveaway, because I’m thankful for you!

Here’s the part I bet you were waiting for (it is one of my favorite parts, haha!)!  Whole Foods Market of Colleyville, TX, which is my local Whole Foods Market store, has partnered up with me to bring 7 winners some local, sustainable goodies!  Six (6) winners will receive a mini package with a Whole Foods exclusive Mineral Fusion spring nail polish color, a bar of “Soap Girl” grapefruit soap, and Whole Foods organic Pomegranate Orange lip balm.  One Grand Prize winner will receive an ultimate package, with all of that, plus my favorite shampoo and conditioner combo from Acure, one Acorelle organic roll on perfume, and hand sanitizer spray!  To enter, comment below – anything from saying hi, to telling me what you’d love to see more.  After you comment, fill in the Gleam giveaway app with the name you commented under, and enter for more chances to win!  Thank you so much to the Colleyville Whole Foods for working with me (a natural girl’s dream come true) and helping make this such an awesome giveaway!

Six (6) people will win a prize like this (each of the 6 will receive one of the beautiful polishes out of the set):

found out about you from the whole foods fb page. i also love the colleyville location because it’s closest to my home. you are clearly inspiring and have a friendly, positive energy. i love that! with dry, sensitive skin and being over 40, all those factors mean my skin needs serious TLC….and regular over the counter items make my skin drier, and more prone to redness. not good. so your giveaway would be a true blessing. take care.

Discarding the top of strawberries has been the norm my entire life. But why?

Eating the tops of strawberries is one tiny sustainable change that didn’t take a lot of effort.

What’s one small eco-conscious change you’ve implemented that made you say “Why didn’t I think of this before?!” 💡✨
