A Quick Trip to Target
Some of us are guilty of loving Target too much.. JK! You can’t love Target too much. You’re probably there right now, picking up your chai latte from Starbucks and telling your kiddo that this may take a while. You only came for one thing. Yea right, hahaha! This one thing will require you to browse every aisle. Twice. And you’ll leave with more bags than you have hands to carry. And that’s alright, because Target is legit. Not only is the design mesmerizing and fun, but their merchandising team is on top of it. They sell THE BEST products. They even have a great selection of sustainable, organic, and eco-friendly products that I can’t find at other stores. I’m sharing my Top 10 with you here today. Let’s get started!
Top 10 Eco-Friendly Products at Target
1. Disinfecting Wipes
These wipes use natural ingredients to help clean, and the wipes themselves are compostable!
2. Laundry Detergent
Seventh Generation laundry detergent
3. Disinfecting Spray
I usually buy the lavender Mrs. Meyer’s products, but my new favorite scent is Honeysuckle! The products work well to clean surfaces without a lot of harmful chemicals and overpowering smells.
4. Weleda Body Products
The first time I used “skin food,” the name was so odd to me. It is perfect for this product, though, because it literally nourishes your skin.
5. Essential Oils
Essential oils have so many great benefits. We use lavender in a diffuser for colds, in oil and applied to the temple or feet for headaches, and in the diffuser for a nice, calming scent. The Aura Cacia brand offers several types of essential oils and EO products, and their Discovery Kit is perfect for testing a few of them out.
6. Play House
Little Tikes Go Green Playhouse
This is on my wishlist! It is a playhouse that uses playing to teach about eco-friendly concepts. Solar panel, LED lights, rainwater collection, living roof, gardening, recycling bins, and more. This is the playhouse of my mommy’s dream, too!
7. Bath Products
Shea Moisture Mommy & Baby
Shea Moisture is a small all-natural brand that has made it to to big shelves at Target while not compromising their natural values.
