“Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue.”
This old wedding adage can really come in handy when planning outfits. Recently I attended one of my fraternity brother’s wedding, and I wanted to wear our sorority/fraternity color, royal blue, for the occasion. The man above got us some sunshine and a couple of things in bloom on the ground and in the trees, so I was all like, “I guess I’ll bring some color to the party, too!” I was able to spice up the solid blue dress with a few touches of coral and pink in my accessories and makeup. Check out my take on something new and something blue!
Dress: A’Gaci – this was my first purchase from this store ever, and I must say, I am pleased! I actually wore the dress backwards so as to have a more conservative neckline, but it is adorbs whether forward or backward.
Nails: Stiletto Nails painted with O.P.I. “Bubble Bath,” with a streak of gold glitter on my party nails (ring fingers). Stiletto nails have been my favorite for a while now, and I chose the light colored “Bubble Bath” so that I could keep them as professional as possible. If you google “stiletto nails,” you’ll see they can get pretty wild =)
Lipstick: Rimmel London Kate Moss Lasting Finish 06 – I love this stuff!
With spring finally being official and slowly making its presence known, the color in my wardrobe is about to get crazy! But not too crazy. Blue and coral are such versatile colors that can be complimented by several other colors. They made a perfect match here, and will be reoccurring in my spring and summer ‘fits. What is your favorite springtime color or pattern to wear? Let me know in the comments below!
Until next time, Ci Vediamo!!!

I can’t believe that dress looks so good worn backwards. You are so creative not just in architecture but fashion too! Love the coral bag also.
