The Best DFW Thrift Stores For Second Hand Treasures

My Favorite DFW Thrift Stores - Old World New

DFW Thrift Stores That I LOVE

My thrift style has become my signature, and lately a lot of people have been asking lately about where I thrift here in the DFW.  I am an avid thrifter, and although I can’t brag about having gone to every thrift store in the Dallas / Fort Worth area (I’m close to achieving that, though!), I just have to share with y’all my favorite ones that I visit quite often!  Some of my greatest pieces were found in these stores, and I’m sure you’ll find amazing pieces at each of these, too.

Pin this now to easily find it later!

My favorite DFW (Dallas & Fort Worth) thrift stores

Thrift Giant

Locations: Dallas (Harry Hines), Dallas (NW Hwy), Denton, Irving (Beltline), Irving (Irving Blvd.)

Thrift Giant has several stores throughout DFW, and just recently opened a brand new one! That is the only one that I haven’t been to yet, but I’ve found so many great treasures at all of the others. My new favorite would have to be the Beltline location in Irving. I went shoping at their pre-Christmas sale and found amazing clothes, toys and home items for half off!  Make sure you get there early if you plan on taking on their half off sales. The stores are usually completely full with checkout lines wrapping around the entire store just one hour into the day. That’s really how you know you’re thrifting in the right place!

Texas Thrift

Locations: Arlington, Hurst & more throughout Texas.

Texas thrift has been my go-to shop because it is close to my job and where I first lived in the DFW. It is great for modern finds, but I have found a few vintage pieces here, such as this partial fur cape/coat. I’ve also found a lot of great baby clothes for friends, some furniture pieces, a fancy gown/dress for a special occasion, and so much more at Texas Thrift. Their sales are amazing. They have a sale for 50% off of the entire store quite often! I love those days. You can also download their app and become a VIP member for special savings on Sundays.

I could list so many more thrift stores in the DFW where I’ve found a few great pieces, but I had to start with my must stop shops. These are the stores that never fail me. Where are your must-go thrift stores? Let me know your favorites and your favorite finds below!
