DIY Natural Stovetop Cleaner

I’d rather scrub a lot than inhale toxic fumes while cleaning my stove top & oven!⁣⁣⁣ What about you?

DIY Natural Stovetop Cleaner

Most stove & oven cleaners are toxic AF. Typical kitchen cleaners may not be as bad, but if it’s not natural, you’re probably still inhaling fumes that are not good for you. A natural stovetop cleaner (DIY or store bought) isn’t wimpy, though. It can get the job done!⁣⁣

DIY Natural Stovetop Cleaner

I make this lemon vinegar cleaner (recipe) regularly to have around as a natural cleaning solution/spray. I use it to clean the tub, to mop, and to clean tough messes in the kitchen. If you’ve ever made an erupting volcano in a science class before, you’ll recall that pouring vinegar over baking soda is what causes the “eruption.” These two ingredients (baking soda + vinegar) make a tough little duo & work well to help remove gunk & grime.⁣ The lemon also adds in helpful cleaning and disinfecting properties.⁣⁣

The coconut scrubber is also one of my favorite kitchen tools. It is made from the brown fibers from the outside of older coconuts, and they are TOUGH! They last a long time as well. I used the first scrubber for more than a year & just now moved on to the second one that came in the pack. It doesn’t leave microplastics on my dishes, surfaces, or in the water system. It is naturally antibacterial & easy to clean by scrubbing it with my other coconut brush kitchen tools or placing it in hot boiled water. They are also biodegradable so the bristles can be composted when they no longer work.
