These brands provide you with non-toxic cleaning products when you don't want to create your own. Saving time & the plant for a double win!

Non-Toxic Cleaning Brands

For each brand, I’ll be sharing a mini excerpt about their products, their average toxicity score based on the scores given by Think Dirty, a third party organization that tests how toxic a product is on a scale of 0 – safe, to 10 – very toxic, and a link to where you can purchase them. You can do your own research to discover which brand works best for you, but this collection of brands is a great starting point. Ultimately, I hope this list helps you and inspires you to take a more eco-friendly and non-toxic cleaning journey.

Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day

Mrs. Meyer's Clean Day non-toxic cleaning products

Let me keep it all the way real with y’all. My husband and I LOVE Mrs. Meyer’s hand soap (I can’t remember which scent), but one day I randomly opened my Think Dirty app to see it’s toxicity rating, and it was higher than I liked. According to them, “We use a combination of essential oils and carefully selected synthetic ingredients in our fragrance compositions. We use a combination of essential oils and carefully selected synthetic ingredients in our fragrance compositions.” (source) As much as I love that scent, I know now that synthetic fragrances are toxic, so I had to let it go. As a result, we use bar soap for washing our hands.

I buy their bamboo toilet paper and balsamic greens & grapefruit dish soap on repeat, and I love them both! Discarding the top of strawberries has been the norm my entire life. But why?

Eating the tops of strawberries is one tiny sustainable change that didn’t take a lot of effort.

What’s one small eco-conscious change you’ve implemented that made you say “Why didn’t I think of this before?!” 💡✨
