As part of the Project Runway trip experience, Josh and I were able to go shopping at Bloomingdale’s on a budget provided as part of winning the Connective Threads contest. We were paired with one personal shopper (Andrew Pritchard) and two previous Project Runway contestants (Dom & Char) to help us find the perfect new clothes while there. What followed was our own NYFW runway style show! Josh and I both originally had the idea to buy a pair of nice shoes. He found his without skipping a beat, and they are quite nice! I decided to let Andrew, our personal shopper, take the reigns and Char, a Top 4 Finalist from Season 13, suggested a nice staple piece for the fall. We started to search for a cape, and ended up all over the store finding a few handfuls of clothes to try on and parade. Between Char, Dom, Andrew, Josh & I, the shopping trip was so much fun! It was determined that I apparently absolutely love black and white together. See for yourself here:

Dom and I ❤❤❤ She was my favorite contestant and favorite winner over all of the seasons, so meeting and just getting to chill, shop and dine with her was so much fun. She is an inspiring lady, and I can’t wait to see where else fashion takes her!
Did you see the black + white theme going on? I learned something new about my style with that – I didn’t know how deep my black + white combo obsession was! I also learned that Bloomingdale’s is quite affordable, no matter your preferred price range, so I’ll definitely be going back for more. If you are ever in New York and need a personal shopper, I implore you to try to get an appointment with Andrew Pritchard at Bloomingdale’s. He was amazing at helping style both me and Josh. Now, you probably won’t have the sprinkles on the cake of having two Project Runway contestants tag along, but believe me, he’ll get you right!

I can’t lie, though – I was super glad when Dom won, but I was so glad that Justin was in the top. His designs were so unique and beautiful!
