Thrift Haul January 2015
Thrifting and eco-fashion are a way of life. I am fascinated by both, and I honestly think if more people thrifted and purchased eco-friendly fashion pieces, we could save the world.
This mentality and action behind it would create less waste on clothes that are shoddily made, and use embodied energy (energy & products that was already spent) instead of using new resources to create even more things that will eventually fill a landfill. Therefore, to be of world-saving encouragement, and to just brag about thrift store finds… but mostly to encourage & empower, I am sharing some of my finds. jessA lot of people curate some good thrift finds on Instagram now, so that eliminates you needing to search! For example, I’m going to put that cream cape on eBay soon. Search instagram for some good shops like @retrorhapsody, I’ve purchased a vintage dress from her before & I love it!
