Thrift It! Clique | Sweater Weather

Thrift It! Clique is here – a big dream, realized! Thrift It! Clique was originally my idea to bring together the creative minds of people who create beautiful styles with their thrift shop finds. I’ve started by interviewing different folks and featuring them here on the blog, creating a facebook page and also a facebook group where anyone can share their thrift inspiration. Then, Brittany suggested creating a group to take pictures each month. I knew just who the group had to be! From there, wonderful things have happened. I can’t wait to see how each of us style our monthly thrift themes, and how you all chime in and show us your best thrift finds. #ThriftItClique is a real thing, y’all.
For January, our theme is “Modern Sweaters.” Did you know that you can find more than “your Grandad’s sweaters” at thrift stores? I see sweaters like the ones each of us found so often, and they make great, modern, classic, and timeless outfits. I wanted to do something fun and less predictable with this v-neck mustard colored sweater. Instead of pairing it with a pair of jeans and an undershirt as I typically do with sweaters, I layered it over a fun quilted sundress. This allows me to maximize my closet because I can’t wear this dress alone in the winter.
