Disclaimer: I received L’eggs products for free in exchange for writing a review, but all opinions are my own.
Back in the day, pantyhose were a necessity before I left the house for church on any non-summer Sunday. It was just like the routine of having to grab your backpack before school – with them, you win. Without them, you lose, and trouble shall surely follow. So basically, I had to notify adults if I needed to get pantyhose before the store closed on Saturday. Talk about learning responsibility!
Well, it is a new day! I rarely wear pantyhose to church anymore (don’t tell my Granny), but when L’Eggs reached out to me to write a style post featuring their tights, I couldn’t resist. It’s time to break some old fashion rules and make new rules for our generation!
1. Wear L’eggs tights to compliment your spring and summer brunch street style outfit.
2. Wear them to the outdoor festivals to add a pop of color.
3. Yes, still wear them to church in the winter, because that style never gets old!
I styled my gray L’eggs Sheer Energy Control Top Tights with thrifted vintage Levi cut-off jean shorts (less than $10), a gray American Eagle tank top ($14 on sale), a Pac Sun black lace bralette ($25), purse from H&M (less than $15) and DIY *flawless* H&M slip on shoes (see SHOE tutorial here).
So tell me, how do you wear and style your L’eggs tights?
See how my blogging buddy Kaylah styled her L’eggs tights for the professional scene.
xoxo, dolls & dudes!
Super cute! It’s hot here in SC but I love to wear tights in the Fall when it gets cool.
Yes, Earl-Leigh, I am looking forward to the fall to wear some more shorts & tights combos!
I’ve always enjoyed tights. Use to wear them all the time when I worked.
I need to start wearing them more to work!
You look great! I love tights! The crazier the color or pattern the better! However, you really can’t go wrong with a gray pair, like you have .
Thank you, Lauren! I’m looking forward to finding some with great patterns this fall!
They look super cute with your shorts! I love tights in the fall/winter so much! This spring and summer, I’ve been wearing mostly maxi skirts and dresses (and hope to see if I can make a few last into the fall)!
Thank you, Sarah! I can’t get enough of dress wearing this summer, either! And I’m ready for fall so I can wear more tights 🙂
I need to buy a pair of gray tights for a dress that I have. I’ll have to checkout the L’eggs brand. Love you shoes 😉
Please do check out L’eggs! They fell awesome. Thank you 🙂
Tights are a staple in my wardrobe when it gets cooler! I have them many colors from Smurf blue to inky black–and all of them get lots of wear. I love the versatility that tights have–they definitely aren’t just for church anymore! 🙂
hahaha, Smurf blue! I would love those! They have definitely become every day wear! 🙂
I love the look of this! Super cute.
Thank you, Jessica 🙂
I love wearing these with shorts too! I’ll never forget my mom saying “why don’t you put some panty hose under that skirt/dress” and me being like NO MOM! That’s for old people! Little did I know they would be trendy now 😉
Bahahaha, and its so the style now! Your mom was on to something! 🙂
OK! I’m breaking my tights back out! 😀
Do it, girl! 🙂
I love this…too cute! I remember I use to wear pantyhose all the time with my short skirts and heels for work. My mom just said yesterday that pantyhose were coming back and I told her I will not be wearing them, HA! I just might have to check out these L’eggs tights during the winter time. BTW, love the shoes…Definitely my style!
Thank you, Daria! They are soooo coming back in style! 🙂
You pull off this look so great! Also, I love your shoes!
Thank you Logan! I hope you checked out the tutorial for those shoes 🙂
I’ve never liked wearing tights, but I have always thought they were cute. I like colorful tights under neutral colored, knee-length dresses 🙂
The knee length dress with tights is a very cute look! Taking it back to the 60s, but making it modern. So much fun 🙂
I have been looking for a good quality pair of tights! Mine always run and tear so easily. I’ll definitely give these a try, super cute outfit!
Stacey, those are some strong tights lol, I haven’t had an issue with them tearing at all. I hope they work well for you!
You’re gorgeous! And I love the outfit and the tights , they really completed the look.
Thank you, Vel! I agree, they bring the look all together 🙂
You have great legs so tights or no tights 🙂 I do wear them in the winter and love to try on different patterned ones.
Thanks for linking up with Turning Heads Tuesday!
