Whole Foods Market – Hello Beauty Bag Spring 16

I’m so excited to announce the arrival of the newest Whole Foods Market “Hello Beauty” bag!  I’ve reviewed and given them away before (Spring 2015 bag, Fall 2015 bag), so I’m even more excited that I received one to review before their release this time.  This time, like every other, I am so pleased with the products.  Previous bags have made me privy to new favorite products, such as Acure shampoo and conditioner.  I already know that as soon as some of these products run out, I’ll be purchasing them in full size (* = items I intend to purchase a full size bottle of and continue using ).  For $15, the quality of this bag is worth way more than what you have to pay for it.  Let’s get into these products!

Burt’s Bees Lipstick*

I actually purchased this color a few weeks back, so I was excited to have another tube in my bag.  The lipstick is super moisturizing and the colors are rich.  The bag came with the Sunset Cruise tint, which I believe will be perfect in the spring for me.  I also have the Scarlet Soaked, which will be perfect for a red lip year-round.

Trilogy Rosehip Oil Antioxidant

This oil isn’t too heavy, it has a delightful smell and is a great moisturizer.  It is intended to reduce signs of aging.  I plan to use it as an overnight oil for my face.

derma e Purifying 2-in-1 Charcoal Mask*

A mask with an exfoliant… this is pretty much perfection.  Unlike a pure charcoal mask, it doesn’t leave your face extremely dry and feeling irritated.  After washing it off, my face felt moisturized, exfoliated, and really clean!

Mineral Fusion Lash Curling Mineral Mascara*

I’ve used previous formulas, and they were so-so.  The problem I had with them was that they would crumble and irritate my eyes after on a few hours.  This new formula that is included in the Hello Beauty bag has completely changed that!  It is amazing, and I will be sticking to it for a while.  It lasts all day and it even washes off smoothly.

Acure Pore Minimizing Facial Scrub*

First, you smell it (and it smells great), and then you feel it working (and it works so well!).  I seriously wanted to use it more than recommended (3 times per week), but I stuck to the instructions.  I’ve been having a lot of break outs since I’m now pregnant, but this was the first product that actually made a positive difference in my skin.

Evanhealy Rose Geranium Facial Tonic

This tonic feels so calming on my face after I cleanse it with either the Acure scrub or derma e mask.

Dr. Haushka’s Soothing Cleansing Milk

I was initially confused by this “cleansing milk,” but I soon found out that it is basically a creamy make up remover!  It worked well on my eyebrow makeup, but not so much on my mascara.

Weleda Skin Food

Who knew that your skin needed food?  My face has been missing this, though.  It only takes a little dot of it to cover your entire face, and the formula says it can actually be used anywhere on your body.  After using this rich, moisturizing cream, my face felt completely nourished.  Sort of like a happy baby that’s full on mommy’s milk.

MyChelle Perfect C Serum

Made to help combat wrinkles and lines, I would say I don’t have use for this serum in that manner.  However, it is moisturizing and kind to my face.

This past week, I tested all of the products so that what I am saying to you could be based on my true experience.

Overall, I am highly pleased with this Hello Beauty bag, as I always am.  I was so surprised by the large variety and selection of items it has to offer this time around.  I am not, however, surprised that I want to make a lot of these things staple items in my natural beauty arsenal.  I’m always grateful for being introduced to a natural product that makes my life a little easier because it really works!  This Hello Beauty bag is for everyone – beauty enthusiasts, the girl next door, and especially those that are tired of trying to find skin care products that work.  I know where you’ve been, and going natural with my beauty routine was the only thing that ever worked.  Don’t miss out on your Hello Beauty bag, because once they’re gone, they’re gone.  You don’t want to have to wait until the next one is released, so go reserve/pick yours up at your local Whole Foods Market (find yours here) today!
